the Italian job


Phew, it’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks but we have just delivered one of our best events yet (even if I do say so myself).

It all started back in May with a humdinger of a brief: high end VIP entertainment including an overnight stay at a 5 star hotel, an exclusive activity to appeal to a majority male guest-list and dinner at a Michelin starred restaurant.

Our search took us to Bologna, home of gastronomy, and Modena, home of the Ferrari.
We stayed at the Grand Hotel Majestic, a 5 star hotel which certainly lives up to its name. An achingly Italian hotel, unashamedly showcasing the very best of traditional Italian decadence and amazing views across the Piazza.

As for the activity, we turned to Ferrari. We had exclusive use of the Autodromo di Modena to drive Ferrari F430s under the instruction of professional drivers and a tour of the famous Hombre Estate: home of the Parmesan cheese and an impressive collection of vintage Maserati vehicles.

To top off this adrenalin-filled day, we sought out the gastro-genius of Agostino Iacobucci at the I Portici Restaurant, who created a bespoke 4-course Autumnal tasting menu for our guests.
